SESTAR Technologies is a four-year old company with offices in Gainesville, FL and Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. It was created following serendipitous meeting of the two principals, Mike Starks and Steve Sesnick. Starks is a former executive with the PGA TOUR and former CEO of an artificial turf company with expertise in business and finance. Sesnick is an inventor and visionary who first saw the possibility of linking solar receptors with artificial grass.
The company became reality when Starks and Sesnick teamed up with the University of Florida’s Department of Technology Licensing, providing access to one of the leading scientific communities in American academe and to the research teams that are currently helping to develop Sestar’s product line.
Sestar has a committed and experienced Board of Directors led by Chairman Richard Swett, a former United States Congressman and Ambassador to Denmark. The Board and the management team are determined to remain focused on the core principals of the company, and to develop products that not only are commercially viable but that truly benefit Planet Earth and are consistent with new green energy policies.
